This week, we're highlighting Albury City's pledge, supporting the Jobs & Skills pillar.
This pillar is about ensuring the regional workforce is optimised and fit for the future. Targets have been set to ensure the skills and supply of the workforce is matched to the labour market, and increasing school and post-school education to develop a skilled regional workforce for the future.
''We pledge to deliver increased capability of the Live Albury Wodonga skills board to make it easier to search for skilled professionals over the next 12 months.
By making it easier for businesses to list and for relocators to search for skills, our pledge will aim to reduce the difficulty in hiring skilled professionals.
Our pledge will help drive Jobs and Skills by enabling better connection of skilled workers to available jobs in the region.'' - Albury City
